Holding On ~

We are to hold on firmly to Gods way's ...

As we believe in His way that accomplishes His will in our lives ... we must not waver or let go of that hope within us. We must continue to follow along those sometimes difficult pathways that wind through uncomfortable places with the expediency of it leading to a level path to walk.

Our God is asking us to ... trust Him! Commit to His leading ... listening to His commands. As we learn to trust His leading we begin to have clarity in our listening ears by faith. Then we begin to see the refreshing newness of what lies ahead on the pathway He has chosen for us to walk.

He makes our burdens light ... for we are not to carry the complete load ... we give Him the heavy part so we can be set apart as we watch and learn.

"Let us hold fast our profession of faith ..." Hebrews 4:14 ~

Count the Cost ~

Victory always has a price ...

Athletes suffer through grueling training to overcome their opponents. This training involves the action of their heart and will to accomplish the goal they have set for themselves to win at all cost.

The Christ ... the Messiah came to earth from heaven to free us from the bondage of sin and death so we could be in right relationship with our Creator God. This victorious gift of God's saving grace came with a great price ... suffering ... shed blood and death.

The true church is not an organization controlled by the rules of men but a holy collection of living stones with Jesus Christ as the Cornerstone. The true church takes the challenge of the race of righteousness as we count the cost each new day His gives us breath to breathe as we look unto the example of strength in Christ Jesus the author and finisher of our faith ~

"For which of you intending to build a tower does not sit down first and count the cost whether he has enough to finish it." Luke 14:28 ~

Prayer that Conquers ~

Prayer is the key that will open every door of difficulty ...

The Lord opens for you to see the impossible happen through sincere prayer. Prayer is not so much a weapon or even a part of the armor as it is the means by which we engage in the battle itself and the purpose for which we are armed.

Putting on the armor of God is to prepare for battle... Prayer is the battle itself ...

The Word of God is our chief weapon ... we speak forth against the enemies of our soul during our struggles and difficulties ... we pray focused with the Spirit of Truth !!!

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints ..." Ephesians 6:18 ~

Light of Revelation ~

The Lord God gives us treasures hidden in the darkness. These are secret riches He will do so we may know that HE is GOD ...

The only true God of Israel ... the One who calls us by name ...

He calls us by name ... such a wonderful thought to ponder ...

GOD is the One who creates the light and makes the darkness. GOD sends forth the good times and the bad times. Yes, He is the One who does these things so salvation and righteousness can sprout up together. Realize ... He has called you and I for the sake of others!

Let it echo through your heart resounding His love ... into the darkness.

"I the Lord speak righteousness. I declare things that are right." Isaiah 45:19 ~

Examine Yourself ~

The Spirit of Truth comes from within ... to examine us ...

Let us ponder this for a moment ...

We need to understand the difference between CONVICTION power coming from the Holy Spirit that shines like a light within our hearts to expose the unholy that can destroy spiritual growth. He then brings desire to change as we become willing to repent.

Completely different from CONDEMNATION that filters through the unholy spirit of darkness bringing no hope or desire but only death and hopelessness of heart from outside forces that speak against us.

"Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?" 2 Corinthians 13:5 ~

Grace of Giving ~

Our Father God in heaven gives without reminding us of our unworthiness.

For His grace is not purchased with our monies. God gives because He loves ...

The proper attitude in meeting adversity then becomes gratefulness in a loving God who gives unto His children all that they need.

Like family ...

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 ~

Halleluyah ~

There is a beautiful Hebrew word that has been translated into many languages and is a lovely expression suitable for joyous worship.

That word is halleluyah!!!

"Behold God is My salvation ... I will trust and not be afraid; for YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song, He also has become my salvation." Isaiah 12:2

The shorter form of the Lords Holy Name is 'Yahweh' or 'Jehovah' ...

'Halleluyah' translates ... 'praise the Lord' and literally means ...
'you must all praise YAH!'

Looking closer within these words we see our Messiah's lovely name and it gives us great joy to praise Him with our 'halleluyahs.'

So to express a joyful praise in our everyday living ... we may speak, halleluyah for our blessings as we go about our business outside the home. Even while shopping as we come upon a sale!
